2nd (1) James Cullen/Ellen Morgan (Impreza) 1.50.17
3rd (2) Austin McHale/Brian Murphy (Corolla) 1.50.36

5th (9) Frank Meagher/Dermot O'Gorman (Escort WRC) 1.51.59
6th (11) Daniel & Michael Doherty (Impreza) 1.52.14

Just outside the above leaderboard - we provisionally have Eamonn Boland 7th, Hugh Martin Doherty 8th just 12s behind Boland and battling hard to get ahead of the Wexford man. Then it is Eugene Donnelly in 9th, highest placed 2 wheel drive and modified car. Then Phillip Shaw in 10th leading class 11A. Next up is Killarney's Donie O'Sullivan followed by Stephen Murphy, group N leader Seamus Heron, Glenn Allen (2nd in class 11A) and Brendan Kelly, 2nd in group N.

Beyond that is Sean McArdle provisionally 16th and 16s ahead of Maurice Gass, then its Natalie Barratt, she's 3rd in gpN, Alan Nesbitt is around about 19th having had all sorts of day 1 brake troubles and Connie Smith 20th, Connie getting used to a new 6 speed R&D box in his Escort Cosworth.  Connie is still running a "small" front diff, so is having to be a bit canny.

Andrew Nesbitt set fastest time over Kindrum, by 5s from James Cullen, Frank Meagher was 4th fastest, Ian Greer 5th fastest and Hugh Martin Doherty 6th fastest.  On Kindrum Andrew Nesbitt was once again quickest - that is 14 fastest times out of 14 stages.  Austin McHale was 2nd fastest over Fanad 4s behind Andrew and 1s ahead of Cullen. Frank Meagher and Daniel Doherty were equal 4th quickest. Ian Greer 6th fastest.
In the Historic part of the rally - Dessie Nutt leads with Martin Boyle 2nd in his Anglia and Joe Connolly in a similar Porsche to Nutt 3rd.  Nutt is taking it gently as he is off to Ypres on Monday.  In the Post Historic section John Keatley is 1st from Martin Freestone with John Farrell 3rd - all in Escorts.

Back to the International - and news of further retirements - David Armstrong spun his Escort Cosworth off backwards, got caught on a wet slippy patch, with seemingly a cocktail of brakefluid on the surface.  His Escort Cosworth went over and down a bank backwards, very light damage, but no spectators to help.  Andy Blower/Anne Ellis had a huge disappointment when they and their small team in their No.145 Nova battled to get the clutch changed here at service, but when they got to the out control it was closed - they were over maximum! Robbie Peoples led cl.10 overnight but is coming under serious pressure from Paul Gallagher. Paul stopped for 2 mins in Letterleague on day 1 with electrical problems and is in a hurry to make up time. Robbie Peoples' Escort is now suffering serious vibration troubles. KERRIDGE RALLY - Dodd leads by over a minute from Mann with Petch 3rd after SS8. BRIAN AND LIZ PATTERSON
