Through stage 2 Darren Gass was again fastest and said that he had tidied his driving up and he felt it was a better run although he still found the stage slippy. Darren was 2s faster than on his first run but then so was Kenny McKinstry. On our last RallyNews we had Garry Jennings as joint leader but his time has now been amended so he would have been 3rd after stage 1 with McKinstry 2nd. Garry was slightly disappointed on his stage 2 run and felt that he was quicker. Derek McGeehan is still finding his Corolla WRC lacking in punch out of the corners and feels that perhaps a faulty sensor is having a detrimental effect on the anti lag system. Gary White had a better run on stage 2 and has hardened the suspension on his Impreza.

Liam Ryan from Cashel in Co. Tipperary is having a great battle with fellow Tipperary man Pat O’Connell, with Liam having the slight edge so far in the battle for 2nd in group N with Mark Massey just a few seconds back. Scottish visitor Billy McClelland has the anti lag sorted on his Lancer but lost a few seconds when he clipped a chicane. Andrew Mullen has his |Lancer back on full power having damaged one of the intercooler pipes when he hit a tree in stage 1. Simon Woodside in the BMW is getting to grips with the gravel sections.

Emma McKinstry had an excellent 2nd stage, 5s up on her first time and has moved into the top 10.
