Main points
Charlie Donnelly said the Skoda was a bit “skippy”.
Glenn Allen felt the Charlie Donnelly
Corolla was pretty different from his own and he boiled the front
brakes.
Sean Devine “settling in” to the Subaru.
Raymond Johnston – too soft a tyre. Back of
the Impreza breaking away.
Stephen Moore – off the pace. Front right
hand rim damaged, tyre still hard, got out of shape on a square
left and damaged the wheel.
Johnny McKenna – 2 wheels full of muck,
reinforced his story that he got caught between 2 gears and
slithered his Lancer wide on a corner.
George Robinson stopped between junctions 3
and 4 – no news as to why.
James Cullen – great run and said. “Getting
back into it, getting warmed up for Donegal”.
Martin Elliott – overshot his Lancer at a
junction, no damage but 20 plus seconds at least gone west.
Liam McCarthy, recorded 5.59.2 in his
Corolla WRC and getting used to the paddle gear shift.
Connor McCloskey – felt the brakes going
off slightly and the back stepping out, still a good time.
More news later.
