Andrew Nesbitt arrived into service from stage 2 having been far and away fastest over that Cloghan stage, and the Cross Refrigeration man said "It was very very slippy. We took it fairly easy". Slippy indeed. The conditions are causing problems all round, and although the top cars have arrived here at service, the rally has been stopped because of accidents behind the lead cars on stages 1 and 2. Second fastest Peadar Hurson said "It was scary over the big jumps". While Mark Higgins dropped a place to the Celica driver when he stalled his Corolla WRC on the start line of the 2^nd stage. "Forgot to switch on the anti lag" was Mark’s comment.
